Sorry for the delay in getting everything out. Have been swamped around here. Is what I get for taking everything on. Anyway, the Feb. tournament results and a new updated members list is attached. Also updated weight standings. It was voted on to give tackle shop certificates to the AOY and the Big Bass winner for 2009. Brendan Kennell AOY and JC Gwynne – Big Bass of the Year. Also, we have less than 24 hours to get our Top 6 entry in the mail. Has to be postmarked by Feb. 26th. So far I only have confirmations from Brendan and Olin. I need to know asap or the team will be scrapped and we will just use the funds for next year’s team. I need to know QUICK ! I have been appointed the fish care coordinator for both the state championship at Belton (so I can’t fish) and also the open here on Amistad here in April. If you would like to join my team for the open in April, I will split the $100 or $150 a day with you that I will get for being coordinator. Please let me know. Also, at the club meetings, please be reminded the winners need to stand up and tell the club members, where, how, and on what you caught your fish. We missed it last meeting due to the top 6 discussions, but it WILL resume in March. We also voted to keep $75 in the bank account and the rest used for top 6. Current balance as of today is $775.00. So, $700 is available for Top 6. Entry fee into top 6 is $590.00 . So after entry, $110 is left over for hotel and gas expenses. In other words it might cover some hotel fees. Other than that, I really don’t have anything else. Regards.

ANGLERS BASS CLUB 2010 SCHEDULE

 March 6 ; April 3 ; May 8 ; June 5 ; July 3 ; Aug. 7 ; Sep. 4 ; Oct. 2 ; Nov. 6 ;  and Dec. 4

Basically the first Saturday of every month with the exception of the month of May. Easy to remember.

 

February Tournament Results – Lake Amistad

14 members fished with 3 guests. 34 fish were caught for a total of  93.20  lbs. . 1 fish  weighed in dead.

  2. Charles Stewart – 3 fish – 13.65
  3. Brendan Kennell – 3 fish – 9.24

      1st  Big Bass – Charles Stewart – 6.83

      2nd Big Bass – Rusty Gambrel – 5.80

 

As you can see by the member list, we now have 25 members. If anyone would like to volunteer for a club office, please feel free to contact me. You can gladly have some if you want it.
